Nurse Manager (RN) - STAT Team

Responsibilities Oversee plans, organize, manage and evaluate patient care operations for designated area(s) on a 24‑hour basis as needed. Plan and develop strategic short, mid‑ and long‑term goals and processes to enhance and improve unit operations in support of the Medical Center’s mission, vision and values. Evaluate and identify achievements and problems in meeting goals. Manage, guide, coach and evaluate the work performance of patient care staff in the designated area. Promote and ensure ongoing collaboration with other patient care departments and areas that relate directly or indirectly to patient care operations and services. Develop, administer and manage unit budget plans. Identify, plan and initiate cost‑saving initiatives. Participate in development of evidence-based standards of practice. Identify opportunities for improvement in patient care and organizational processes. Assume leadership in identifying and correcting factors contributing to problematic outcomes. Final candidates are subject to successful completion of a background check. A drug screen or physical may be required during the post‑offer process.
