PHYSICIAN LEAD

Physician Lead St. Ignatius – Tribal Health Department Qualifications Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited institution. Montana medical license in good standing. Board certified or eligible for board certification. Minimum of 5 years clinical experience, preferably in community health, primary care, or Indigenous health settings. Experience managing, supervising, or supporting physicians and APPs. Active DEA and ACLS certification. Valid Montana state driver’s license. Application Requirements Tribal application form. Copy of academic transcript. Proof of state licensure. Copy of valid driver’s license. Proof of enrollment from a federally recognized tribe if claiming Tribal preference (other than CSKT). DD‑214 copy if claiming veterans preference. Failure to submit all of the above information will result in immediate disqualification during the screening process. Position Details This position is a Testing Designated Position (TDP) within the CSKT Drug Testing policy. The successful applicant, if not already employed by the Tribes, must pass a pre‑hire drug test and will be subject to random testing for the length of employment. The role requires passing a background check in accordance with Public Law 101‑630 and includes a mandatory six‑month probationary period. Salary is $121.05–$139.14 per hour plus benefits; the role may be employed under contract.
