Registered Nurse - Wound Care

Job Description

Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Wound Care RN to provide specialized wound management services. The clinician will deliver patient-focused wound care, including assessments, treatment plans, and follow-up care within a specialized clinical setting.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patient wounds and develop individualized care plans based on clinical findings.
• Administer wound treatments, including VAC therapy and other advanced wound care modalities.
• Document patient progress and treatment outcomes accurately within electronic health records, including EPIC.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient recovery and address complex wound issues.
• Educate patients and staff on wound care protocols, compliance, and prevention strategies.
• Maintain compliance with certification, licensure, and facility policies, including Wound Care Certification and EPIC experience.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid California RN license at submission; no pending or temporary licenses accepted.
• At least 2 years of wound care experience, with 1.5 years acceptable.
• Certified in wound management; WCC or WOCN preferred, with certification verification required.
• Must possess current BLS certification.
• Demonstrate proficiency in EPIC and WoundVision systems.
• Able to work day shifts (4x10 hour schedule) with flexibility.
