About our property Hotel Flor Tampa Downtown, Tapestry Collection by Hilton, is located in the heart of Tampa. The hotel features 210 guest rooms and 13,042 sq ft of meeting space, and is part of the Pyramid Global Hospitality family. Your Role Engage with guests to ensure their stay is going well Work as a team to accomplish the goal of resort/hotel cleanliness Keep work cart orderly and properly stocked Proper utilization of equipment supplies and guest amenities Thorough cleanliness and sanitation of assigned guest areas Daily changing and inspection of linens and towels, following the standards set forth in the Green Program Practice safety standards and be aware of safety hazards (e.g., broken glass, frayed cords, leaks, broken locks, suspicious persons) and properly report them Respect guests’ property at all times Responsible care of equipment Report to work on time and maintain accurate time records, following standards for issuance of rooms Remain alert, courteous, and helpful to guests and co‑workers Perform other related duties as requested by Floor Supervisor Qualifications Housekeeping experience desirable Neat, pleasant personality Time‑management skills Ability to work on feet for an extended period Effective communication skills Ability to read room numbers, dates, and basic instructions Physical ability to move, traverse, and position self to reach corners on floors and high places; operate equipment including spray bottles, vacuums, mops, brooms, dust pans, scrub pads and dusters; handle carts weighing up to 100 lbs in tight spaces Lift, carry, and position loads of at least 25 lbs Ability to work holidays and weekends Compensation Pyramid Global Hospitality is an equal opportunity employer.
