Rowan County Detention Center is actively hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a Full-Time Day Shift position. This role works 12-hour shifts. About the role Rowan County Detention Center is looking for a reliable and qualified LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) to care for individuals in our custody. What you’ll do Provide direct patient care to incarcerated individuals Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) Collect vital signs, lab specimens, and patient health data Support sick call and assist providers with procedures Administer medications and maintain accurate MAR documentation Monitor patient conditions and report changes Conduct rounds and document patient progress Follow infection control and safety protocols Maintain medication security, including narcotics accountability Assist with patient transfers and required reporting Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
