Metal Fabricator & Welder – Build Custom Architectural Systems That Stand OutJob Overview:Company: Coastal Canvas Products.Salary/Pay Rate: $23 – $25+ per hour (Based on experience).Location: Savannah, GA.Job/Employment Type: Full Time.Schedule: Monday – Friday.Mandatory Licenses & Certifications: None Required.The Opportunity: You will serve as a skilled craftsman, building custom aluminum and steel frameworks for premium architectural systems installed across the Southeast. You will have the chance to grow your technical skills in a stable facility where your dedication to excellence is truly valued.How You Will Make an Impact:Weld and assemble custom aluminum and steel frames for awnings, canopies, and pergolas.Grind, sand, and finish metal surfaces to ensure every project meets premium production standards.Interpret basic shop drawings and fabrication specifications to maintain high-quality accuracy.Operate hand tools, power tools, and grinders safely and efficiently within the fabrication workspace.Collaborate with team members to streamline material handling and optimize production workflows.Maintain a clean and organized shop environment to prevent hazards and improve efficiency.Required Qualifications & Experience:Previous professional welding and metal fabrication experience.Demonstrated proficiency grinding, sanding, and finishing metal surfaces.Proven mechanical aptitude and comfort operating various fabrication equipment.Strong basic math, measuring, and layout skills for precision assembly.Ability to read and accurately understand detailed shop drawings.Preferred Qualifications & Experience:Experience in architectural fabrication or specialty construction environments.Advanced skills in aluminum welding specifically for custom frameworks.Demonstrated ability to assist with layout preparation for complex structures.Compensation & Benefits:Competitive hourly pay with overtime opportunities available.Comprehensive health benefits including Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance.Life Insurance and 401(k) retirement plan with company match.Generous Paid Time Off (PTO) package.Stable, long-term work environment with opportunities for internal advancement.About Us: Coastal Canvas Products is a trusted leader in custom outdoor architectural systems, serving luxury residential and commercial clients for over five decades.
