Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Compact license required Certifications: - ACLS - AWHONN Intermediate - BLS - NRP Must-Have: Previous charge experience preferred Description: This position is for a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse. You will work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for providing care to patients during labor and delivery. You will monitor patient vital signs and fetal heart rates. You will assist with C-sections and recognize abnormal fetal heart patterns. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Weekends are required, with a commitment to 6 weekend shifts in a 6-week schedule. Expect a patient ratio of 1:1-1:2. On-call duties are not required. Floating to other units is not expected. Candidates must commit to working three of the five designated holidays. References are required from previous employers covering the last three years of experience.
