Entry Level Civil Engineer

We are seeking an enthusiastic Entry Level Civil Engineer to join a collaborative team delivering a range of infrastructure, construction, and development projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional to build practical experience while working alongside experienced engineers, project managers, contractors, and technical specialists. You will contribute to projects from initial concept and design through to construction and completion, gaining exposure to a variety of civil engineering disciplines.


Your responsibilities will include assisting with the preparation of technical drawings, calculations, specifications, reports, and project documentation; supporting site investigations, surveys, inspections, and condition assessments; and helping to develop practical, cost-effective engineering solutions. You will review technical information, monitor progress against plans and schedules, and help ensure that work is delivered in accordance with relevant standards, regulations, health and safety requirements, and quality procedures. The role may also involve liaising with clients, consultants, suppliers, and site teams, attending project meetings, recording actions, and responding to technical queries. A willingness to visit construction sites and work in varied environments is essential.


Applicants should hold, or be working towards, a degree or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering or a related subject. Knowledge of engineering principles, construction methods, design standards, and relevant software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or other technical design tools would be beneficial. We are looking for someone with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate clearly in writing and in person. You should be organised, proactive, keen to learn, and able to manage priorities while working effectively as part of a team. A commitment to professional development and, where applicable, progress towards professional registration is encouraged.
