• Shift: Inpatient, clinic and call coverage; 7:30 am4:00 pm, 6:00 pm7:00 am on call, 30-minute unpaid lunch
• Hours/Week: 8 hours daily minimum, overtime applies after 8 hours/day

• License/Certs: Active California license, DEA required, BC certification in relevant specialty
• Experience: Previous experience in cardiovascular/cardiothoracic surgery preferred

What You'll Do

• Rounding on inpatients post-op
• First assist in cardiovascular and thoracic surgeries
• Seeing patients in outpatient clinics
• Interpret EKGs, X-rays, Labs, ECMO management
• Use advanced procedures such as endoscopic and radial artery harvesting, IABP, Impella support
• Respond to pagers during weeknight and weekend call shifts
• Provide high-quality, compassionate care in a fast-paced environment

What You Need

• Valid California medical license and DEA license
• Board certification in relevant field
• Prior experience in cardiovascular or thoracic surgical settings preferred
• Skills in EKG interpretation, ECMO, IABP, Impella
• Ability to work flexible hours including call shifts
