CHILD AND YOUTH PROGRAM ASSISTANT (LEADER LEVEL) - MCGUIRE

About the position This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Child Development Center, McGuire AFB, New Jersey. The position may require the incumbent to transport children in a government vehicle. A valid state driver's license must be obtained and maintained; a good driving record may be required as a condition of employment. In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience Must be a high school graduate, or equivalent; and be able to provide proof (i.e., diploma or equivalent) for verification. Must possess maturity and good judgement and like working with children/youth and their parents. One year at the CY03 level or equivalent. Must have completed an Associate of Art degree in early childhood education, youth development, or related fields or have a Child Development Associate Credential or a Youth Development Credential.
