2nd Shift Diesel Technician

SCHEDULE

2nd shift, Monday-Friday 3pm-1am (approx. 40‑60 hours per week) plus 10% pay differential applies to 2nd and 3rd shifts only.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Perform repair on diesel truck engines Diagnose, troubleshoot, disassemble vehicles and examine parts for defects and excessive wear Correct vehicle deficiencies by removing, repairing, adjusting, overhauling, assembling, disassembling and replacing major assemblies, sub‑assemblies, components, parts or systems Inspect overall condition of trucks to ensure they meet U.S. Department of Transportation safety requirements Compile inspection reports detailing findings Track all parts and materials used in repairs or replacements Ensure final work product meets quality standards Maintain a safe and clean work area for customers and co‑workers

QUALIFICATIONS

Great work ethic Willingness to jump in and help out where needed Attention to detail Expertise in working on diesel engines (Cummins, MAC, etc.) CDL (preferred) Clean driving record Ability to lift 50‑100 lbs. occasionally and 10‑50 lbs. frequently Good written and verbal communication skills Reliability and dedication to hard work Ability to work independently maintaining a safe, efficient and friendly environment Honesty and respect Assume responsibility for actions and commitments
