Shift: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm

Hours/Week: 40 hours/week

Employment Type: Contract

License/Certs: Active California Medical License, Board Certified in Otolaryngology, BLS, ACLS, ATLS, PALS, ABLS required

Experience: Minimum 50 logged cases in past 24 months

Pay Rate: $1.00/hour (please note, pay details are discussed upon application)

Provide outpatient and inpatient Otolaryngology care at a busy hospital with 209 beds

Manage a diverse patient population aged 18 and older

Conduct consultations, examinations, and follow-up care

Participate in call rotation on Friday through Sunday, starting at 7:00 am, response time 15–20 minutes

Assist with admissions and rounding for assigned and unassigned patients

Document in Athena and Cerner EMR systems

Support a team of in-office staff and collaborate with nursing and support personnel

Comply with hospital protocols, including stroke care and trauma support levels

Active California medical license or IMLC (not eligible)

Board Certified in Otolaryngology (Fellowship required)

Minimum of 50 case logs in the past 24 months

Certifications: BLS, ACLS, ATLS, PALS, ABLS

At least 2 years of post-training practice experience

Strong communication and clinical skills

This assignment takes place at a leading healthcare facility in Turlock, CA, providing both outpatient and inpatient Otolaryngology services. The hospital is stroke-certified and equipped to handle complex cases, requiring active physician engagement and collaboration. Rounding and call duties are shared among the medical team, ensuring comprehensive patient care. Credentialing is estimated to take approximately 120–180 days; temporary privileges are available for qualified providers. Support staff includes registered nurses, medical assistants, and office personnel to facilitate smooth operations.
