Schedule: Weekday overnight shifts plus Saturday and Sunday coverage

About the Position

Gila River Sand & Gravel Corporation is looking for a dependable and alert Security Officer to help protect our employees, facilities, equipment and property across our three locations.

This is an active security position requiring regular vehicle patrols between GRSG locations, detailed reporting, strong communication and the ability to remain alert and professional throughout overnight and weekend shifts.

Schedule

This position requires weekend availability and regular Saturday and Sunday work .

Typical schedules may include:

Monday–Friday: 8:00 PM–4:00 AM

Saturday: 4:00 AM–4:00 PM or 4:00 PM–4:00 AM

Sunday: 4:00 AM–4:00 PM or 4:00 PM–4:00 AM

Specific schedules will be determined based on operational and security coverage needs.

Weekend and holiday availability is required.

Holiday hours are paid at 1.5 times the regular hourly rate , in addition to applicable holiday pay, in accordance with company policy.

Key Responsibilities

• Patrol all three GRSG locations and conduct regular perimeter checks

• Travel between GRSG locations as required during your assigned shift

• Monitor facilities and property for suspicious activity, unauthorized access, safety concerns, damage and other irregularities

• Maintain accurate patrol logs, daily activity reports, incident reports and vehicle inspection records

• Report accidents, injuries, property damage, equipment issues and other significant incidents to your supervisor

• Communicate with your security partner, other officers and supervisors

• Provide backup and assistance to your security partner when needed

• Contact law enforcement regarding suspicious or illegal activity when appropriate

• Perform vehicle inspections and basic vehicle maintenance, including changing a tire when necessary

• Monitor tenant activity and document concerns or discrepancies

• Maintain assigned security vehicles and areas in a clean and orderly condition

• Follow GRSG policies and applicable safety, security and environmental requirements

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate is dependable, observant and comfortable working independently during overnight and weekend hours.

You should be able to:

• Work overnight, weekend and holiday shifts

• Travel between all three GRSG locations

• Remain alert and attentive throughout your shift

• Communicate clearly with coworkers and supervisors

• Complete detailed written reports and logs

• Respond appropriately to suspicious activity and emergency situations

• Follow established security procedures and company policies

• Work outdoors and patrol company property as required

Pre-Employment Requirements

Employment is contingent upon successfully completing:

• Pre-employment physical examination

• Alcohol and drug screening

• Background check

• Any other applicable employment requirements

Paid Orientation & Training

Your first day will include paid orientation , followed by three days of paid training .
