Job Title

Travel Registered Nurse – Emergency Department

La Porte, Indiana

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced rural Emergency Department with 23 beds
• Manage a patient ratio of approximately 4–5:1
• Float to a nearby Emergency Department every third weekend as required
• Utilize electronic medical records system (Cerner) for documentation and patient management
• Adhere to all department protocols, dress code (navy blue scrubs), and holiday scheduling requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Indiana
• Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
• De-Escalation Training certification
• Minimum 1–2 years of Emergency Department experience
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility – local candidates are not eligible
• Valid driver's license with permanent home address matching ID required at submission

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Cerner EMR
• Prior travel nursing experience in an emergency or acute care setting
