Travel Surgical Tech/ORT - Certified Surgical Technologist/CST

American Traveler

American Traveler seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist for a general surgery position requiring 2 years of CST experience at a Level II Trauma Center teaching hospital.

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of CST experience required
Candidates considered with or without formal CST certification
License required if applicable
Compact license not accepted for this position

Responsibilities

Work within the Surgical Services unit of a tertiary teaching hospital
Level II Trauma Center with a busy Emergency Center
General surgery specialty
12-hour day shifts, either 11am-11:30pm or 7am-7:30pm
Weekend coverage required 1-2 times per 4-week schedule
On-call requirement with a 30-minute response time
Support surgical teams in a teaching hospital environment with residency and fellowship programs across multiple specialties
No more than 5 days of RTO can be requested during the assignment
