Regional Sales Manager – S. CA, AZ and NV

Summary
Gemstone Vineyard is seeking a driven, relationship-focused Regional Sales Manager to expand and maintain our presence with restaurants & retail accounts across all of Southern CA, AZ and NV. Ideally this position will be based in Orange County, but open to other Southern California locations. This role is ideal for a motivated sales professional who thrives on building lasting partnerships, delivering exceptional service, and driving measurable results. They will manage and grow the current territory, cultivate new business, and ensure our brands are represented at the highest level in the marketplace. Successful candidates must have experience managing both on & off-premise accounts, candidates working with, and motivating distributors, brokers, and their sales teams. Account relationships and the ability to generate sales are a must.

Responsibilities
Sales & Account Development
•  Actively sell and promote our wine portfolio to restaurants and wine shops within an assigned territory
•  Oversee and manage current broker or distributor relationship in defined territories Foster strong relationships with new and existing customers to maximize sales growth and
brand presence
•  Conduct organized, professional work-withs and tasting appointments
•  Visit accounts regularly to ensure optimal brand positioning and velocity Performance and Customer Service & Relationship Management
•  Deliver exceptional customer service to all accounts, with prompt responses and consistent follow up
•  Record activities into our sales management and ordering software and maintain accurate, current account and contact information

Organization & Reporting
•  Schedule and maintain a balanced work week with dedicated office and in market days day per week
•  Maintain organized records and territory business development plans
•  Provide a bi-weekly summary to VP of Sales
•  Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of related sales experience (wine or beverage industry preferred)
Must be at least 21 years of age
Valid California Driver’s License and valid auto insurance
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly
Ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods
Flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
College degree (BA/BS) required
Must be able to pass a background and drug screening prior to employment

In compliance with California pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this position is $115,000 – $135,000 annually; actual compensation is based on experience and qualifications.
