About the Job

The Director, Omnichannel Strategy, Walmart will lead the development and execution of the omnichannel growth strategy for one of SharkNinja's largest and most strategic retail partners. This role partners closely with the Walmart Sales organization to translate commercial priorities into integrated plans that drive growth across the customer journey.

Working across Sales, Brand Marketing, Integrated Marketing, Retail Media, Social, Analytics, Creative, Product, and Operations, this leader will establish strategic priorities, influence investment decisions, and align cross functional teams behind the initiatives that create the greatest business impact.

The successful candidate will combine strong commercial acumen with strategic thinking, analytical rigor, and exceptional relationship building skills. This individual will serve as the primary omnichannel leader for the Walmart business, helping shape how SharkNinja brings innovation to market, strengthens the customer partnership, and delivers a best in class shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Omnichannel Strategy

• Own the omnichannel strategy for the Walmart business, developing annual and quarterly operating plans that align commercial priorities with marketing, digital activation, and retailer initiatives.

• Partner closely with Sales leadership to define strategic priorities, shape Joint Business Plans, and identify new opportunities to accelerate growth.

• Develop retailer specific strategies supporting new product launches, seasonal events, category expansion, and long term business growth.

• Evaluate shopper behavior, competitive activity, retailer capabilities, and market trends to identify opportunities and adjust business strategy.

• Establish success metrics and operating rhythms that ensure progress against key business objectives.

Drive Commercial Growth

• Develop the strategic prioritization framework for the Walmart business, ensuring organizational focus is aligned to the products, categories, launches, and commercial opportunities with the greatest growth potential.

• Partner with Category Management, Sales, Brand Marketing, and Product teams to influence assortment strategy, launch sequencing, promotional planning, and omnichannel activation.

• Guide prioritization of marketing investment, retail media, digital content, and cross functional resources to maximize business impact.

• Connect brand marketing, retail media, social, influencer, and shopper marketing initiatives into integrated demand generation plans that drive qualified traffic and improve conversion.

• Identify new opportunities to expand category leadership and improve overall business performance.

Champion the Consumer Experience

• Lead strategies that improve discoverability, engagement, and conversion across Walmart's omnichannel ecosystem.

• Partner with cross functional teams to optimize product content, search visibility, ratings and reviews, brand stores, digital merchandising, and other customer facing experiences.

• Represent the Walmart shopper in internal planning discussions by incorporating customer insights, retailer feedback, and business performance into strategic decision making.

• Identify opportunities to remove friction across the customer journey and improve the path to purchase across both digital and physical retail.

Lead Cross Functional Execution

• Serve as the central business owner for omnichannel initiatives across the Walmart account, aligning cross functional teams around a shared strategy and operating plan.

• Build strong partnerships across Sales, Brand Marketing, Integrated Marketing, Retail Media, Social, Analytics, Creative, Product, and Operations to ensure consistent execution against business priorities.

• Establish clear priorities, operating rhythms, and governance that improve collaboration, accountability, and execution.

• Influence senior leaders across the organization to align investment and resources behind the initiatives that will deliver the greatest business impact.

Strengthen the Walmart Partnership

• Build trusted relationships with Walmart stakeholders by bringing forward strategic recommendations, customer insights, and innovative ideas that create mutual growth.

• Represent SharkNinja during executive business reviews, Joint Business Planning, annual planning, and strategic customer meetings.

• Partner with Walmart to identify opportunities that improve the customer experience, strengthen the partnership, and accelerate business growth.

• Position SharkNinja as a best in class omnichannel partner through strategic leadership, operational excellence, and consistent execution

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA preferred.

• 8 to 10 years of experience in omnichannel strategy, retail marketing, ecommerce, shopper marketing, retail media, or commercial strategy.

• Experience working with Walmart or other large omnichannel retailers is strongly preferred

• Proven ability to develop business strategies and lead complex cross functional initiatives within a matrixed organization

• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to connect strategy to execution and deliver measurable business results

• Experience developing executive business reviews, operating plans, and performance reporting

• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior leaders internally and externally

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into strategic recommendations

• Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment

Salary and Other Compensation: The annual salary range for this position is displayed below. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. $151,900 - $233,200 USD
