About the Opportunity

We are partnering with a highly successful, technology-driven financial services firm seeking an experienced Senior Technical Recruiter to join its growing Talent Acquisition team in Chicago.

\n

This is a high-ownership recruiting role supporting sophisticated technology teams in an extremely competitive talent market. The recruiter will partner directly with engineering leaders to develop hiring strategies, identify and engage hard-to-find technical talent, and manage searches from initial intake through offer and close.

\n

What You'll Do

\n

\n
• Own full-cycle recruiting for experienced technology hires across software engineering, infrastructure, hardware and other specialized technical functions
\n
• Partner closely with engineering leaders to understand hiring needs and develop thoughtful recruiting and sourcing strategies
\n
• Serve as a trusted advisor to hiring managers, providing market intelligence, candidate insights and recommendations throughout the search process
\n
• Build creative sourcing strategies to identify and engage passive technical talent in highly competitive markets
\n
• Conduct market mapping and develop long-term pipelines for difficult-to-fill and specialized positions
\n
• Manage candidates throughout the entire interview process while providing a high-touch, white-glove candidate experience
\n
• Partner with hiring teams to develop effective interview processes and candidate assessment strategies
\n
• Use recruiting data and pipeline analytics to evaluate search health, identify challenges and adjust strategy when needed
\n
• Lead offer strategy and negotiations while effectively closing highly sought-after candidates
\n
• Collaborate with recruiters and broader People teams across a global organization
\n
• Continuously identify opportunities to improve recruiting processes, tools and candidate experience
\n

What They're Looking For

\n

\n
• 6+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with a significant focus on experienced technical hiring
\n
• Strong track record recruiting software engineers and other highly specialized technical talent
\n
• Experience within technology, financial services, professional services or another highly competitive recruiting environment
\n
• Demonstrated ability to source and engage passive candidates rather than relying primarily on inbound applicants
\n
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the confidence to advise and influence senior engineering leaders
\n
• Ability to understand complex technical requirements and translate them into effective recruiting strategies
\n
• Experience managing multiple searches and priorities in a fast-moving environment
\n
• Strong communication, organization and relationship-building skills
\n
• Data-driven approach to recruiting and pipeline management
\n
• Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter and modern sourcing tools; Greenhouse experience is a plus
\n
• Comfortable leveraging technology, data and AI to improve recruiting efficiency and outcomes
\n
