Job Description The Fleet Manager oversees and manages the company's growing national fleet, focusing on efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and safety in all vehicle-related operations. Within this role, you will implement fleet management strategies that support operational goals, utilize fleet software systems, and adhere to company and regulatory policies. Primary Responsibilities: Leverage the capabilities of a Fleet Management Program to identify and implement benefits, cost savings, and performance improvements for company vehicles Oversee and analyze all vehicle-related costs, including fuel, telematics, rentals, and maintenance expenses, to maintain effective budget control Act as the primary decision-maker for all major vehicle repairs and maintenance, coordinate timely repairs, and document expenses and issues Identify and flag vehicles needing replacement based on cost analysis, performance data, and feedback from teams, aligning with operational needs and growth targets Manage vehicle licensure, registration, and DOT compliance Develop and maintain outside vendor and service provider relationships Maintain a favorable working relationship with all employees, customers, and vendors to foster and promote a collaborative working atmosphere Qualifications Requirements: Bachelor's degree in logistics, business, or related field preferred. High school diploma required. Minimum or 3-5 years in fleet management or logistics within a multi-location or high-growth environment.
