CHLA requires a primary residence in California prior to start date.Schedule: Monday-Friday, Day ShiftPurpose Statement/Position Summary: The Coding Auditor is responsible for monitoring coding compliance, accuracy, and case mix comparison for the following account types: outpatient clinics, outpatient surgery, inpatient, and emergency accounts. Collaborate with other team members to provide for comprehensive medical record documentation. Provides coding expertise for data reporting activities while adhering to all Federal regulations and AMA coding guidelines.Minimum Qualifications/Work Experience: 3+ years of experience in related field required.Education/Licensure/Certification: Bachelor’s Degree in related field required or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience. CCS Required. RHIT or RHIA Preferred.Pay Scale InformationUSD $106,080.00 - USD $141,440.00CHLA values the contribution each Team Member brings to our organization. Final determination of a successful candidate’s starting pay will vary based on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, education and experience within the job or the industry. The pay scale listed for this position is generally for candidates who meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this specific job description. Additional pay may be determined for those candidates who exceed these specified qualifications and requirements.
