Job Description

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity is for a Staff Pharmacist specializing in Long Term Care (LTC) and retail pharmacy settings, working in a Mail Order environment. The position offers a contract to hire arrangement with full-time hours through October 2026.

Schedule:

Monday through Friday
Day shift: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

Location: Aurora, IL

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct final review of medications before shipment to ensure accuracy and compliance
Collaborate with the pharmacy team to support efficient processing of prescriptions in the LTC mail order setting
Utilize pharmacy software frameworks for documentation and verification processes

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Current Illinois pharmacy license is required
Experience in LTC or retail pharmacy practice
Familiarity with pharmacy frameworks software is a plus, enhancing workflow efficiency and accuracy
Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety during medication review and shipment
