Senior Data Analyst

What Is the Opportunity? Senior Data Analyst works within the Insights, Data Engineering & Analytics organization to meet the data pipeline strategies and objectives across the bank. The Senior Data Analyst will guide and lead end-to-end processes, standards, and guidelines to ensure accurate and efficient data delivery of tasks and projects. What Will You Do? Lead data analysis via data discovery, exploration, investigation, and impact assessments; apply best practices and illustrate understanding via data flows of systems and processes. Conduct and lead data profiling and data preparation by identifying gaps and qualifying data. Validate data by verifying against requirements and success criteria. Confirm understanding of requirements by modeling data with Entity Relationship diagrams and data flow diagrams. Research business processes and document inconsistent, incomplete, or misinterpreted data. Lead development, quality measurement, benchmarking, goal setting, and performance measurement analysis. Identify appropriate data sources and map the data from source to target. Create and manage the catalog and metadata of data‑related objects. Guide integration across data sources and targets. Mentor colleagues by contributing experience and insight to the team. Manage large programs and projects of significant complexity and risk. Develop and maintain trusted advisor relationships with senior leadership and external partners, optimizing the use of analytic capabilities and deliverables. What Do You Need to Succeed? Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree or equivalent. 6+ years of relevant experience in data analysis or analytics in the banking industry. Additional Qualifications Strong experience with SNOWFLAKE and SQL. Experience with Collibra is a PLUS. Advanced senior professional with wide‑ranging experience using professional concepts to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways. Reporting into a designated City National location is an essential function of the job. What’s in It for You? Compensation Starting base salary: $95,000 - $155,000 per year. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. This job is eligible for bonus and/or commissions.
