Associate Actuary I

Join a growing actuarial modeling team responsible for validating and testing critical model enhancements that support valuation, cash flow testing, corporate planning, and assumption-setting functions. This role is ideal for an actuary who enjoys analytical problem-solving, model validation, and collaborating across multiple actuarial disciplines to ensure model accuracy and governance standards are met.As a senior member of the testing team, you will play a key role in developing and enhancing testing protocols, supporting special projects, and evaluating model changes received from the development team. You will also serve as a technical mentor and trusted resource to junior analysts, helping elevate the team's modeling and testing capabilities.Key responsibilities include designing and executing model testing strategies, supporting model governance initiatives, documenting results, and presenting findings to senior leadership. Strong communication skills are essential, as this role regularly interacts with stakeholders and provides guidance to developing actuaries on effective presentation and communication techniques.This position is available onsite in Houston, TX. Relocation assistance is available.
