Lead Mammography Technician

The Lead Mammography Tech is responsible for providing expert clinical care and leadership within the Imaging Services department. Qualifications require a graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, with certifications in Basic or Advanced Life Support, and appropriate state licensing and ARRT registrations for mammography and related modalities. Applicants should have at least 5 years of imaging experience in an acute or ambulatory setting, demonstrating technical proficiency and leadership abilities. Responsibilities encompass planning, delegating tasks, mentoring staff, maintaining safety standards, and participating in quality improvement initiatives. Leadership skills include coaching, communication, staff performance evaluation, and involvement in departmental meetings and hospital committees.
