Senior BLM Analyst

Sr Analyst, Equity and Alternatives BLM – New York or Chicago The primary purpose of the role is to support the growth of CME’s equity index business in prediction markets and new alternative investment products. Working with a senior business owner, the candidate will provide data‑driven assessments of the current product offering and support new product initiatives that contribute to growth in volume and revenues. Key Responsibilities Actively support the daily execution of Equity and Alternatives BLM initiatives, including product management, customer inquiries, reporting, and incentive program management. Manage large data sets for analysis; structure and process qualitative and quantitative data to draw insightful conclusions. Create and update business analytics reporting functionality to monitor key metrics across the equity index products and ensure data is easily accessible to team members and internal stakeholders. Generate new ideas for business growth and propose solutions to existing complex issues. Support sales efforts by preparing tailored materials for business line managers and sales teams to drive client conversations. Represent the BLM team in cross‑functional projects and collaborate with internal teams such as Clearing, Marketing, Sales, Research, and Technology. Work flexible hours as markets become less constrained by trading hours. Qualifications 2–5 years of experience in financial services and derivatives markets. Strong interest in the equity options market, especially prediction markets, with relevant experience if possible. Bachelor’s degree; advanced degree a plus. Strong analytical skills and expertise in handling large data sets. Understanding of the prediction market system and CME Group’s adjacent markets. Excellent teamwork, interpersonal and communication skills; ability to manage multiple stakeholders and client needs. Proactive self‑starter attitude with continuous improvement mindset. Compensation & Benefits Competitive total rewards package: Chicago: $89,300–$148,900; NewYork/NewJersey: $98,300–$163,900. Salary offers depend on experience, skills, and internal comparison.
