Key Responsibilities\n

In your role as LCSW, you will:

• Conduct detailed clinical assessments and craft individualized treatment plans, employing solution-focused methodologies and interventions tailored to each patient’s specific needs.

• Utilize diverse therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and other evidence-based modalities, to address mental health challenges effectively.

• Document clinical records promptly and accurately to maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational standards, ensuring a clear and thorough account of patient interactions and treatment progress.

• Engage in collaborative efforts with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other health professionals, participating in regular case consultations and interdisciplinary care meetings to enhance treatment strategies and outcomes.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment methodologies, and available resources, empowering them to engage actively in the treatment process.

• Stay informed about the latest developments in mental health practices and incorporate new findings into your clinical practice to continuously elevate patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse patient population, primarily individuals facing end-of-life challenges and their families. Your role is critical in providing emotional support, helping patients navigate their feelings around illness and grief, and facilitating open discussions about their mental health needs. Qualifications\n

Candidates for this position must possess:

• A master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• A valid license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in New York state.
