General Description

The Battery Technician EV Teardown is responsible to provide a safe, proper, and complete teardown of electrical vehicle batteries for further processing on the Lithium Line.
We believe in employee development and will provide opportunities for training and growth.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensures health and safety is the number one goal by following warehouse safety procedures and processes.
- Daily set up of equipment
- Daily inspections of electrical tools and PPETeardown electrical vehicle batteries for processing according to SOPsSort battery components into correct storage containers
- Properly label containers for storage and shipment
- Comply with all environmental, health and safety regulations.
- All other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Frequently lift 10-40 pounds individually, and over 40 pounds with a team member.
- Forklift experience.
- Basic electrical experience
- Ability to operate.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Attention to detail.
- Teamwork and communication skills
EDUCATION AND TRAINING REQUIREMENTS
- High School Diploma or GED
