RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:
/n
• Work 12-hour shifts with 1:2 patient ratio maintained throughout all shifts
/n• Weekend coverage required every other weekend
/n• Average daily census of 44 patients in a 50-bed unit
/n• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
/n• Preferred certification: TNCC (Trauma Nurse certification)
/n• 2 years of ICU experience required - first-time travelers not accepted
/n• Travel experience required
/n• Must live over 65 miles from facility (verified by drivers license address)
/n• Scrub color requirement: Royal blue
/n• Epic charting system experience preferred
/n• 24 hours of orientation provided over 5 days
/n• Louisiana or Compact license required in hand upon submission
/n• NURSYS report required with profile (must be within 4 weeks of submission)
/n• Emergency team assignment possible during emergency events with expectation to stay until event passes
/n• No call-ins permitted - strict attendance policy
/n• Care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
/n• Manage complex ICU patients including ventilated patients, cardiac drips, and post-surgical cases
/n• Trauma Level I and II experience preferred
