High School Math Tutor

Position Overview We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced high school mathematics teacher to join our dynamic faculty team. The ideal candidate should have a rich background in mathematics, capable of teaching various courses including Algebra I, Honors Algebra I, Algebra II, Honors Algebra II, Geometry, Honors Geometry, Pre-Calculus, Pre-Calculus Honors, AP Pre-Calculus, AP Calculus AB, AP Calculus BC, Statistics, and AP Statistics. The candidate should demonstrate a commitment to fostering an inclusive and engaging learning environment while promoting critical thinking, analytical skills, and effective communication among students. Participate in professional development opportunities, teacher meetings, and school activities. Fulfill other duties and responsibilities assigned by the school administration. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field; master's degree preferred. Valid teaching certificate/license in secondary Mathematics (or equivalent). At least two years of teaching experience at the high school level within the past two years, demonstrating effectiveness in teaching mathematics. Familiarity with various teaching strategies, assessment techniques, and educational technologies to support student learning and engagement. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to collaborate effectively with colleagues, students, parents, and other stakeholders.
