Solid Waste Equipment Operator – Part Time County of Warren Warren County is seeking highly motivated and skilled candidates to fill the position of Solid Waste Equipment Operator. This is a part‑time position that performs difficult work in the operation of a variety of construction equipment at the County Transfer Station. Responsibilities Load solid waste with a rubber tire loader. Operate dolly truck, tractors, front‑end loaders, bush hogs, etc. Assist with lawn maintenance, including mowing and weed eating. Assist the Solid Waste Manager in supervising operations and staff. Qualifications High‑school graduation or equivalent education and extensive experience in operating motorized equipment. CDL or ability to obtain one. Ability to obtain certification as a Class I Waste Management Facility Operator. Basic knowledge of computers preferred. Compensation This part‑time position pays an hourly rate of $18.85.
