Job ID: 6742721Location: DENTON, TX, USType: FULL_TIMEPosted: 2026-01-08Apply for tomorrow’s opportunity today, with Volt Volt is immediately hiring for Switchboard Design Engineer in Denton, TX.As a Switchboard Design Engineer, you will:Design and develop electrical switchboards, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.Produce detailed drawings, schematics, and technical specifications for switchboard systems.Perform system analysis, testing, and troubleshooting to ensure the reliability and efficiency of switchboard designs.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration of switchboard systems into larger projects.Maintain strong communication with clients and internal stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions.Prepare documentation and reports to support design, testing, and project requirements.Continuously stay up-to-date with industry trends and technological advancements related to switchboard design.This is a full-time, Direct Hire opportunity.Required Skills & Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.3-5 years of experience in switchboard design and related electrical engineering work.Proficiency with CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar) for creating electrical schematics and designs.Strong understanding of electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations.Salary Range: $100k/year to $145k/year*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.Qualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration!
