Director, Medical Affairs Oncology
Ipsen
Ipsen seeks a Director of Medical Affairs to lead oncology medical strategy, oversee clinical evidence generation, and serve as the primary medical and scientific lead for the Onivyde portfolio across multiple indications in the United States.
Responsibilities
- Lead US medical strategy and execution for assigned oncology brands across multiple indications
- Develop and maintain key opinion leader relationships while building external scientific collaborations
- Oversee clinical study design, evidence generation initiatives, and publication strategy planning
- Plan and execute advisory boards, medical congresses, and scientific education programs
- Review and approve promotional, medical, and educational grant materials for compliance
Requirements
- Medical or scientific degree with advanced training in oncology or related field
- Extensive experience in medical affairs within oncology, including strategy development
- Demonstrated leadership of cross-functional teams and key opinion leader relationships
- Knowledge of regulatory guidelines and promotional/medical material compliance
- Strong scientific communication and publication strategy experience
- Experience managing clinical study design, advisory boards, and evidence generation
