Position SummaryThe Ultrasound Technologist performs diagnostic sonographic examinations using ultrasound equipment to obtain and document accurate clinical images and data. This role supports patient care by ensuring timely, high-quality imaging, clear communication of results to providers, and compliance with all regulatory and quality standards.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform diagnostic ultrasound examinations according to established protocolsPrepare patients for procedures and provide clear, compassionate communicationIdentify patient needs and follow age-specific care guidelinesAccurately document exam results and maintain required records and logsEnsure compliance with Joint Commission and clinic policiesMonitor patient condition during exams and notify a nurse or provider of any changesAssist with scheduling and coordinating ultrasound appointmentsParticipate in quality assurance activitiesProvide guidance and support to assigned staff; assist with training and supervision of per diem personnel as neededEducation & ExperienceHigh School diploma or equivalentGraduate of an accredited Ultrasound Technology programCurrent registration with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS)Certificate of completion from an approved Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound programMinimum of two years of experience as an OB/GYN Ultrasound Technologist #J-18808-Ljbffr
