Staff Accountant

Description Worth Higgins & Associates, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our finance team with option for hybrid remote work schedule. The ideal candidate will be a financial professional with 3+ years of related work experience in an accounting setting. A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or business management is preferred. Four years of financial or accounts receivable work experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree. Requirements Responsibilities and qualifications Accounts payable and accounts receivable processing and review; responsible for ensuring timely payment collections and disbursements Assist in preparation of monthly financial reports and play a part in month end, quarter end and year end closing process Perform account reconciliations and journal entries Ad-hoc reporting and special projects Must be proficient in Microsoft Office with an advanced knowledge of Excel, including but not limited to VLOOKUP and pivot tables Ability to develop macros and automate repetitive tasks is a plus #J-18808-Ljbffr Worth Higgins & Associates, Inc.
