Quality Control Manager - Full Time

Job Description

GeoTek is seeking an experienced person that can lead our Quality Control Program. The individual must be proficient in construction plan reading, construction and ASTM testing procedures.
Responsibilities include:
• Manage the materials lab accreditation process.
• Perform and document quality control inspections and testing in accordance with applicable ASTM standards and project specifications.
• Maintain accurate testing, inspection and staff training records.
• Read and interpret construction drawings, plans, specifications, and details.
• Conduct field and laboratory testing as required.
• Identify deficiencies and work with project personnel to ensure corrective actions are completed.
• Ensure work complies with project specifications, applicable standards, and quality requirements.
• Communicate effectively with project managers, contractors, engineers, and field personnel.

Qualifications:
• Experience in construction quality control or materials testing.
• Proficiency with ASTM procedures and standards.
• Strong ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
• Attention to detail and strong documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Relevant certifications such as ACI, NICET, DOT, or other materials-testing certifications are a plus.
• Professional Engineer or Structural Engineering background preferred but is not necessary.
• Current valid driver’s license.
