Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong skill set, with a preference for those with at least 2 years of experience in the ER. First-time travelers are welcome, and we also accept local candidates at a local rate.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients across all age ranges from infant to geriatrics in a fast-paced emergency room setting.
• Administer emergency medications and perform life-saving interventions.
• Manage and apply splints, IVs, and central lines as needed.
• Conduct triage and assess patient conditions to determine the urgency of care.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license in Maryland or compact state.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, CPI.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an emergency department preferred; strong skill set may be considered for candidates with less experience.
• Experience with Epic charting system is preferred.
• Ability to float within specialty as required.
