Job Description A cardiology clinic in Fairbanks, AK is currently seeking to add a Vascular Technologist to join their team full-time! Check out the details below: Title: Vascular Technologist – Vascular Sonographer Job Type: Permanent / Direct Hire Setting: Cardiology Clinic Location: Fairbanks, AK Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 4-10s or 5-8s. No weekends or on call! Pay: $36.44 - $58.30/hr depending on experience plus retention bonus, relocation assistance, temporary housing, and great benefits! The Vascular Technologist’s duties to include but not be limited to: Performs procedures by following and verifying referring providers' orders. Uses independent judgment and applies learned methodologies according to established policy and procedures. Produces high quality images and prepares/presents them with other pertinent patient information for timely interpretation. Prepares and maintains accurate documentation. Performs and evaluates equipment quality control measurements. Demonstrates the ability to troubleshoot and notifies appropriate personnel to maintain equipment performance. Maintains a safe environment for patients, personnel, and visitors. Adheres to safety policies. REQUIREMENTS: National certification as a RVT with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographer or RVS with the Cardiovascular Credentialing International.
