A dynamic opportunity is available for a Pharmacist with expertise in both retail and long-term care pharmacy settings. This role involves working within a specialty pharmacy environment, combining diverse responsibilities that offer professional variety and growth. The position is travel-based, located in Walker, MN, and extends for a minimum of 13 weeks.
Location:
Walker, MN
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
- Rotating weekends
Key Responsibilities:
- Dispense medications accurately in both retail and long-term care settings
- Provide patient counseling and medication therapy management
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient care
- Maintain compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations
- Oversee inventory management and ensure proper storage of medications
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current Minnesota Pharmacist license is mandatory
- Demonstrated recent experience in pharmacy practice, preferably combining retail and long-term care
- Strong knowledge of medication management in a specialty pharmacy setting
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
