Registered Nurse (RN) Night Shift, Forensic Medical Unit

About This Role Adventist Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Forensic Medical Unit who will provide compassionate care while advancing their own nursing skills. Highlights Pay: $37.00 - $55.00 Location: Rockville, MD Facility: Shady Grove Medical Center Schedule: Full-time, Night shift (3:00 PM – 3:00 AM) What You’ll Do Educate patients and families through the continuum of care. Serve as role models to Level I nurses. Demonstrate professionalism and adhere to ANA standards of practice. Use equipment and technology correctly to maximize efficiency. Develop a plan of care according to patient population. Identify impending changes in patient condition and initiate corrective action. Mentor students, colleagues, and team members in patient-centered care. Conduct purposeful rounding from patient and family perspective. Conduct efficient literature searches and apply findings to practice. Identify opportunities for improvement in clinical care. Requirements Education Associate of Science degree required, Bachelor’s Degree preferred or currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Nursing program. Experience Minimum 1 year of RN experience required. Licenses & Certifications Current Maryland State nursing license. Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
