The Player Progression Academy (PPA) is a premier sports organization in the Washington DC metropolitan area. Our mission is to create great experiences and holistic development through sports. PPA offers athletic programs for players aged 2 - 18 with a focus on helping each player achieve athletic excellence, build a dynamic social network, and learn to apply the principles of sport into healthy lifestyle habits that can be carried through life. We are respected for having a highly decorated staff of coaches and professionals who apply passion, creativity, and excitement to our programs. PPA is continually looking to add creative, determined, active, fun, and ambitious people to its team. The most important element to our success is having a team of people who believe in our mission and understand the PPALife. If you have a passion to coach youth sports and are in the Washington, D.C. metro area then apply now! What will you do? Coach 1 practice per week & 1 game per weekend (2 hour per week commitment) per team. Coach 1-3 teams per season. Lead your team at the end of season PPA tournament. Send weekly communications to your team parents. Who are we looking for? Someone who will follow the PPA coaching principles - be prepared, be a teacher, teach PPA Life values. Someone who will coach in a manner that is energetic, fun, active, and that creates a memorable experience for our athletes. Someone who will communicate effectively with other PPA staff and correspond kindly, timely and effectively with parents.
