Residential Counselor

Monte Nido & Affiliates, LLC seeks a compassionate Residential Counselor to support clients in our eating disorder treatment program. In this role, you’ll provide direct care, monitor safety, support therapeutic groups and meals, and help clients practice healthy coping skills. Working closely with a multidisciplinary clinical team, you’ll document observations, assist with milieu management, and uphold program guidelines. Provide direct residential support to clients with eating disorders in a structured therapeutic setting Monitor client safety, behaviors, and adherence to treatment plans; accurately document observations Support therapeutic groups and meals, modeling healthy coping and communication skills Collaborate with clinical, nursing, and dietary teams to reinforce individualized care plans Assist with milieu management, crisis de-escalation, and implementation of program rules Maintain a clean, safe, and recovery-focused environment consistent with agency policies Participate in ongoing training, supervision, and team meetings to support professional growth Behavioral health interventions Patient observation and documentation Crisis de-escalation Basic counseling techniques Motivational interviewing Vital signs monitoring Electronic health records (EHR) Group facilitation Infection control and safety HIPAA compliance CPI or equivalent crisis de-escalation training (or willingness to obtain) CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain) Valid driver’s license (as required by site) Background check clearance for work in healthcare/residential settings Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k #J-18808-Ljbffr iaedp
