Your Role Awaits What You Will Accomplish

• Conduct routine and complex clinical laboratory testsincluding chemistry, hematology, immunology, and morein adherence to established procedures.
• Evaluate results meticulously for correctness, troubleshoot discrepancies, and ensure lab instruments are regularly maintained and calibrated.
• Support specimen collection and prepare samples for analysis as needed.
• Thoroughly document all laboratory procedures, assist in the training of new personnel or students, and ensure compliance with lab quality standards.
• Uphold a safe and pristine work environment while adhering to all regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education and Experience Required

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or equivalent allied health education, along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications Required

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be acquired within the first year of employment.
• Ongoing maintenance of current certification throughout employment is mandatory.
