Camp Counselor

Cliff Hangers is searching for a Lead Summer Camp Counselor. This position is seasonal 40 hours a week. We are looking for someone who is energetic, self-motivated and is comfortable working with kids while leading a team of counselors in a climbing gym environment. The Lead Summer Camp Counselor will be responsible for maintaining and executing the summer camp outline of goals and expectations provided by Cliff Hangers, as well as managing the daily schedule. The Lead Summer Camp Counselor is responsible for opening the climbing gym in the morning and managing the summer camp counselors in the opening duties such as cleaning, auto belay setup, games/activities setup etc. The Lead Summer Camp Counselor is responsible for managing the check-in of campers daily, the collecting of summer camp dues upon Monday morning drop-off and management of summer camper pick-up in the afternoon. Summer Camp lunches will be coordinated with the management team and it will be the responsibility of the Lead Summer Camp Counselor to manage the disbursement of summer camper’s lunches. The Lead Summer Camp Counselor will be responsible for communicating with parents regarding any special needs or requests, schedule changes for the week and report any other issues to management and ownership.
