Associate Manager Media Strategy

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• The Associate Manager Media Strategy will support the strategy and activation of holistic media plans across a portfolio of Bayer Consumer Health (BCH) brands.
• Work closely with the Media Managers to develop media strategies/plans to deliver on brand marketing goals.
• Support the monthly budget management and tracking process and manage the campaign launches across channels.
• Support the development and tracking of creative across brands.
• Review media performance and make recommendations on optimizations to the plans.
• Develops and implements digital marketing strategies to promote the organizations products and services through online channels increasing exposure and driving business from target audiences.
• Manages the execution of digital marketing programs analyzing their effectiveness to optimize performance.
• Establishes and maintains relationships with search engines and portal sites to align with digital goals while tracking website usage trends including visitor quality and advertising campaign impact.
• Creates and maintains engaging website graphic designs and layouts that reflect the organizations brand identity ensuring up-to-date product information is easily accessible to customers.
• Additionally may oversee social media marketing and online community management to enhance customer engagement and drive traffic to company websites.
• This role requires a balance of strategic digital creative and analytical thinking.
• This role requires a heavy emphasis on digital media and understanding of the Search Social and Programmatic space.

• Contribute to the development of best in class holistic integrated media plans to meet brand objectives
• Partner with the Digital Platforms team to plan and optimize media performance and user experience
• Manage media budget summaries and monthly budget actualizations
• Partner with creative agencies and internal team to manage creative asset delivery/tracking
• Support execution of in house digital media model
• Increase performance of media channels as measured through DPC and / or ROI

• Internal:
  • Brand Teams Strategic guidance for the Brands and across Division that will develop and implement best in class digital analytics and measurement capabilities that can be adapted to further the division insight growth and efficiency.
  • Digital Platforms Team Work with this team to develop and optimize plans that will drive the greatest ROI.
  • Communications Leads Ensure alignment on a measurement strategy across social media brand digital activation Legal Medical Regulatory Corporate Communications and Consumer Relations to manage alignment and support analytics and reporting needs.
  • Consumer Insights and Advanced Insights Collaborate to leverage consumer insights and Market Research to inform and guide brand and division wide measurement and reporting strategies..
• External:
  • Partner Agencies Manage and contribute to shaping the relationship with all Agency Partners and help guide a cross channel and cross Brand measurement model.
  • Key Media Partners Work with our largest media partners to deliver against brand goals and continue to educate the organization.

WHO YOU ARE:

Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:

Required Qualifications:

• BA/BS degree required
• Understanding of Search Social and Programmatic media
• Proven ability to develop operational plans to support enterprise and brand level strategy development;
• Experience in healthcare marketing preferred
• Agency/ Marketing / IT background preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication and the ability to communicate complex ideas in a simple effective manner
• Strong knowledge of digital strategy development digital strategies channels and measurement / analytics.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 6 years in Marketing activation (Digital Marketing Media Advertising) preferably in consumer packaged goods;
