About You and The Role

Zipline is looking for a Fulfillment Operations Supervisor to lead daily operations across 3–5 Drone Charging Sites in the greater Houston area. These field locations support aircraft readiness and drone delivery operations. You will lead site teams, plan staffing, and set clear expectations for safety, productivity, quality, and customer experience. You’ll work closely with Flight Operations, Customer Operations, Maintenance, to keep sites ready and resolve operational issues. This is an onsite role based in the Houston area, with regular travel between sites. It’s a good fit for a hands-on operations leader who can coach teams, use data to improve performance, and adapt when priorities change.

What You'll Do

• Lead daily operations across 3–5 Drone Charging Sites, ensuring each site is staffed, safe, and ready to operate.
• Manage and develop Fulfillment Operations Coordinators, Fulfillment Operators, and site support teams.
• Set clear expectations for safety, productivity, quality, and customer experience, and coach teams to meet them.
• Build staffing schedules that reflect operating hours, forecasted demand, and operational needs.
• Manage labor plans and budgets across assigned sites.
• Maintain site readiness, including charging equipment, supplies, inventory, and general site conditions.
• Track performance measures such as fulfillment speed, site uptime, quality, and customer experience.
• Use operational data and site observations to identify bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Lead improvements that strengthen efficiency, reliability, safety, and team performance.
• Conduct site visits, audits, and coaching sessions to maintain consistent operating standards.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with Zipline partners.
• Support new site launches and the rollout of updated procedures.
• Share timely updates on site performance, staffing needs, operational risks, and improvement opportunities.
• Develop team members and help build a strong leadership pipeline across the Houston market.

What You'll Bring

• At least 3 years of experience in operations, warehouse logistics, fulfillment, retail management, field operations, or a related field.
• At least 1 year of experience supervising teams, multiple locations, or operational workstreams.
• Experience managing schedules, labor plans, budgets, and performance expectations.
• Strong coaching, communication, and team leadership skills.
• Ability to use data and operational measures to make decisions and improve performance.
• Ability to work independently in the field and travel between sites.
• Comfort working in a fast-changing environment and adjusting priorities as needed.
• A hands-on leadership style and willingness to support physical operations when needed.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Availability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs.
• A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to complete a background check, drug test, and employment eligibility verification through E-Verify.

What Else You Need To Know

The cash range for this role is $90,000–$95,000. Final compensation will depend on experience, qualifications, skills, work location, and projected impact. The total compensation package may also include equity compensation, discretionary annual or performance bonuses, medical, dental and vision insurance, paid time off, and other benefits.
