CONSTRUCTION PROJECT MANAGER - RESTAURANTS

Construction Project Manager – Restaurant Construction --- NO RECRUITERS PLEASE

The Construction Project Manager oversees all phases of restaurant construction projects, ensuring each build is completed on time, on budget, and in alignment with brand and regulatory standards .

Key Responsibilities

• Project Coordination — Manage schedules, budgets, and construction activities from pre‑construction through turnover.
• Vendor Management — Oversee subcontractors and specialty trades, including MEP and kitchen equipment installers.
• Permitting & Compliance — Handle building permits, health department approvals, ADA compliance, and fire suppression requirements.
• Site Oversight — Conduct site visits, monitor progress, enforce safety, and resolve field issues.
• Budget Control — Track costs, manage change orders, and maintain financial accuracy.
• Stakeholder Communication — Provide updates to owners, franchisees, architects, and operations teams.

Qualifications

• Experience — 5+ years in commercial restaurant construction. Casual Dining and Fast-Food experience are a must. Experience including New, Rebuild, Major Remodel, Tenant Finish-Outs and all other aspects of commercial construction.
• Technical Knowledge — Strong understanding of MEP systems and commercial kitchen requirements.
• Leadership — Proven ability to lead teams and manage fast‑track schedules.
• Software — Strong knowledge with Microsoft Excel, Construction Management Software, Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, and Bluebeam a plus!
