Public Relations Internship

Job description: Vizion Group PR is an event marketing and public relations company based in Berwyn, Pennsylvania. It specializes in providing services to events, television properties and non‑profit organizations in the sports, entertainment and lifestyle space. Client partners include NBC Sports, the National Dog Show, the Kennel Club of Philadelphia, Carson International and the American Century Celebrity Golf Championship, among others. Further information about Vizion Group PR can also be found at ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY Interns at Vizion Group PR are given the opportunity to provide support on multiple projects surrounding the implementation of PR and marketing plans for sports and entertainment events. Interns must be self‑motivated to fit in as a focused operative and a team player. The internships are unpaid. RESPONSIBILITIES Write and edit a wide variety of material ranging from presentations to press releases, fact sheets, brochures, social media copy, stories, blogs, and briefing documents. Execute digital and social media initiatives across various platforms. Use of public relations industry subscription software. Additional responsibilities include: Research Transcribing audio files Report compilation Website updating Intern recruitment QUALIFICATIONS Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, public relations, marketing or a related field. Motivated self‑starter who enjoys a challenge and being pushed outside their comfort zone. Quality writer and an organized and persuasive communicator. Ability to multi‑task, prioritize, and manage time efficiently. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and basic social media. #J-18808-Ljbffr
