Product Owner

An insurance company in the Pacific Northwest is seeking a Product Owner to support the Enterprise Data & Analytics line of business, with a specific focus on the Data Governance team. Experience with data governance platforms such as Collibra (or similar tools) is a top priority and essential for success in this role.
This individual will partner closely with both technical stakeholders and business leaders to support and enhance the Collibra platform. On a daytoday basis, they will work primarily with Analysts to manage sprint delivery, prioritize work, and ensure timely execution of initiatives. The ideal candidate is confident leading Enterprise Data Governance-related projects and can effectively guide the team to successful outcomes.
Responsibilities include longterm planning and sequencing of work based on capacity and demand, as well as maintaining clear and thorough documentation and reporting in Jira and/or Confluence. SQL experience is a plus. While the team is distributed nationwide, core business hours align with Pacific Time (PST).

Required Skills & Experience
- 3+ years as a Product or Project Manager
- Experience with Data Governance, preferably Collibra or other related governance tools
- Experience with Jira / Confluence
- Leadership skills, ability to lead technical team members to delivery
- Agile / Scrum background


Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Experience with Databricks
- Experience with PowerBI / SQL
