Responsibilities Ensure the safety and supervision of the children Work with children on a 1:1 basis in a school environment Provide interventions to children with autism, intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) and speech and language disabilities Deescalate and mitigate behaviors using positive behavior interventions and supports (PBIS) Benefits Shift: Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm (52 week year round position) Pay Rate: $24.00-$27.36/hr (based upon experience) An environment that is supportive, educational and clinically focused. CARES focuses on teaching each student based on their strengths and needs, with programming aimed at increasing independence. Qualifications EDUCATION: Requires a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) EXPERIENCE: At least 1 year of work experience with children or adolescents preferred.
