Surgical Pathologist - Burlington, MA
Join our team of sixteen expert pathologists at Lahey Hospital & Medical Center, a proud member of Beth Israel Lahey Health! We're looking for a full-time Surgical Pathologist to contribute to our dynamic and collaborative environment. Board certification and/or subspecialty experience are significant plus.
What You'll Do:
- Sign out general surgical biopsies and resections.
- Participate in autopsy and frozen section services.
- Provide services to other affiliated hospitals within the BILH system.
- Participate in various multidisciplinary conferences
We're Looking For:
- AP or AP/CP board-certified Anatomic Pathologist.
- Eligible for a Massachusetts medical license.
- Fellowship training and experience in a subspecialty area like:
- Genitourinary Pathology
- Gynecologic Pathology
- Head & Neck Pathology
- Endocrine Pathology
- Molecular Pathology
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative spirit.
Our Department:
- Processes over 37,000 surgical specimens at Burlington and 16,000 surgical specimens at Beverly Hospital annually.
- Offers subspecialty expertise in a wide range of areas including:
- Breast Pathology
- GI Pathology
- Medical Liver and Renal Pathology
- Dermatopathology
- Gynecologic Pathology
- Cytopathology
- Transplant Pathology
- Hematopathology
- Thoracic Pathology
- Genitourinary Pathology
